We’re back for another epic night of reggae music! Advance tickets are strongly recommended.
If you’ve been going to reggae shows in Toronto over the last 15 years or so, invariably you’ve come across Papa Levy. He’ll bless the mic for a tune here … a couple tunes there … whether there’s a DJ on stage … or a full band. With that signature flow that reminds you of his kinfolk – Sir Barrington, he always turns heads and brings a smile to the faces of all in ear-shot.
So for the September instalment of Saturday Night Rockers, our monthly live reggae showcase, we hand the stage over to this paragon of our local scene, along with his band, for a full set of both originals and classics. He’s even promised some tunes off his newly released, beautiful album, Making A Change (produced by Lord Sassafrass) as well as other well-loved singles like the hidden gem, Money Coil.
Remember, this is an early show that starts promptly at 9pm and will be followed by an all-night, all-vinyl reggae dance party that we encourage everyone to stick around for.
