RATS! Another Musical? is a musical improv troupe based in Toronto performing high-energy, narrative-driven, fully improvised musicals. Each performance is created live in the moment with spontaneous songs, bold characters and occasional cartoonish combat. Catch them as part of Comedy is Art in late October, “a festival that features some of the best comedians in Toronto and sends a clear message: comedy should be taken seriously!” A House Team at Comedy Bar, RATS! has two monthly shows: their marquee show at CB Danforth and Way Off Broadway with Mirv-“ish” at CB Bloor. Recent highlights include the Ottawa Improv Festival and a smash-hit run at the Hamilton Fringe Festival. RATS! is known for their theatricality, musical complexity and joyous ensemble chemistry.
