Two newly dead young people meet in the streets of Athens, amid the pulsing cityscape and the ghosts of history. One a translator, the other a photographer, they were outsiders in life; in death they struggle with the residue of their longings and mistakes. They wander the city together, finding consolation in the difficult beauty of existence and its aftermath.
We’re thrilled to be presenting a special screening of How To Shoot a Ghost, the new short film from writer/poet Eva H.D and director Charlie Kaufman, at the Paradise Theatre on Nov 5!This once-in-a-lifetime event will open with short musical sets from Corin Raymond and Emily Steinwall, followed by the film, and a Q&A with Eva H.D. and Charlie Kaufman, moderated by Canisia Lubrin.Tickets are pay-what-you-can, suggested price $35. No one turned away for lack of funds. All money raised helps support the artists, and the West End Phoenix.
