Sheila Stewart publications include three poetry collections, If I Write About My Father (2024), The Shape of a Throat (2012), and A Hat to Stop a Train (2003), and a co-edited anthology of poetry and essays, The Art of Poetic Inquiry(2012). Awards include the Scarborough Arts Council Windows on Words and the Pottersfield Portfolio Short Poem Contest. Her poetry, essays, and book chapters have been widely published in Canada, and in the States and Ireland. Sheila lives in Ktaronto and can be found walking in High Park, along the shores of Lake Ontario, and at www.sheilastewart.ca
Keith Garebian of Mississauga has won international acclaim for his theatre books and he has been widely praised for his poetry collections Frida: Paint Me as a Volcano; Blue: The Derek Jarman Poems; Children of Ararat; Poetry is Blood; Against Forgetting; in the bowl of my eye; Finger to Finger; and his chapbooks Scan, Areté, and Family Song Stitching. He has had some poems adapted to music and modern dance, and he has been honoured by an anthology (A Disciplined Passion: Essays on the works of Keith Garebian) and by inclusion in the third volume of Laurence Hutchman’s In the Writers’ Words.
