Step back in time and experience the magic of Sparkles! For one night only, on April 10 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., our Main Observation level will transform into Sparkles, the legendary nightclub at the CN Tower that made history as the world’s highest discotheque.
Created as part of the Tower’s 50th anniversary celebrations, our Sparkles pop-up pays tribute to a defining era in Toronto nightlife. Inspired by the original nightclub that operated from 1979 to 1991, this immersive throwback event invites you to dance among the stars beneath shimmering disco balls, sip classic retro cocktails, and boogie to a DJ spun soundtrack of unforgettable throwback hits.
The night will be hosted by George Andrew, Sparkles’ longest-running resident DJ, alongside his son, DJ Shamz. George ruled the turntables at Sparkles in the late ’80s and early 90’s, and now his son makes his CN Tower debut, spinning beside him for this epic throwback pop-up night. There’s no guest list; access to the pop-up is included with your general admission timed ticket to the CN Tower, making it easy to drop in, stay late, and soak up the vibes. The event is open to all, whether you remember the disco era or are discovering it for the first time.
