Experience Ontario’s rich and diverse history come to life through the Speaker’s Series – a collection of engaging, in-person talks that celebrate the people, places, and moments that shape our province.
Art in the Park provides a fascinating look at the many art treasures displayed proudly on the walls at Queen’s Park – and the stories they tell about Ontario’s history and people.
Tour highlights:
- This program is 90 minutes in length
- Enjoy light refreshments and a moderated Q&A with the Honourable Donna Skelly, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario
- Features a new topic and guest presenter each month
- December’s topic is “Art in the Park”
The program begins at 6:00 p.m. with light refreshments, followed by a moderated Q&A and a tour of the building.
Cost: FREE
Visitors 16 years of age and older must present a piece of government-issued photo ID to enter the building. All visitors must pass through an airport-style security screening to enter the Legislative Building.

Lani Kopczinski is the Curator of the Government of Ontario Art Collection, Canada’s oldest public art collection. She oversees the preservation and presentation of more than 2,800 works that reflect the province’s rich artistic heritage and cultural diversity. Her curatorial work bridges art, history, and public engagement, bringing the province’s stories to life through its art.
