After a successful launch in Fall 2025, Spotlight at The Second City is happy to announce it will return for monthly showcases in 2026 at The Second City’s Theatre ‘73 in Toronto. To kick off the new year Spotlight at The Second City will feature brand new material from sketch comedy duo 24 Double B and sketch comedy trio Cheap Wine on January 20-21, 2026.
Hosted and produced by Taylor Hreljac and Gabe Meacher, this series presents sketch comedy’s best troupes in their best light. Spotlight at The Second City features two premier troupes each month performing 30 minute shows for a two night run from brand new shows, exciting experiments and Best-Ofs.
