Propeller’s Stories: Emerging Members Exhibition features recent work by Lex Barrie, M ert Kann Burnz, Tiffany Duong, and Abby Gowland.
These stories diverge in content and approach. Lex frames fleeting, colourful moments of everyday joy, creating photographs that transform ordinary details into small acts of poetry and resilience. Mert builds stories of harmony through painting and sculpture, revealing beauty in the tension between the industrial and the organic. Tiffany paints the layered stories of modern womanhood, weaving nostalgia and critique into imagery that reimagines memory and challenges cultural expectations. Abby’s prints explore personal identity through a feminist lens, using vulnerability, humour, and narrative to interpret lived experience.
