SWaNKfest Toronto 2026

April 18 @ 2:00 pm8:30 pm

Toronto’s First SWaNKfest Takes Place in April – “Single-Women-and-No-Kids”

There is an evolution taking place and this spring the first SWaNKfest will be happening in Toronto to bring 100 SWaNKs together in celebration, sisterhood, and connection. Are you an unmarried woman who has never had children? If so, you are a SWaNK, and you are invited to SWaNKfest Toronto 2026!

SWaNK and the SWaNK Evolution was founded by Toronto-born Visionary Artist, Carolyn Quan, in 2013 when she resided in the San Francisco Bay Area. Quan lived in the United States for 36 years, as a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada, and recently re-established her residency in Ontario where she was born and raised. With over 900 members of the SWaNK Toronto Meetup group, she was inspired to produce the SWaNKfest.

SWaNK stands for “Single Women and No Kids” and the SWaNK Evolution is taking place right now in today’s modern society. It is a time in human development where more and more women are choosing to be unmarried and choosing not to have children. We are also in a time where more and more women, not by choice, are finding themselves unmarried and childfree, yet still feel fulfilled in their lives. SWaNKs include both “SWaNKs by Choice” and “SWaNKs by Circumstance”.

The SWaNKfest will feature musical performances by three dynamic entertainers, an inspirational talk from
a motivational speaker, food, non-alcoholic beverages, raffles, and meaningful connection with other SWaNKs. It will be held at Alternity – a beautiful intimate downtown Toronto venue. (alternity.ca/pages/our-place)

Inspired to create a movement that supports women and disseminates the myth that being a single/unmarried woman without children is “bad” or undesirable, she gave birth to the SWaNK Evolution.
