TIFF Next Wave Film Festival

TIFF Next Wave Film Festival returns for its 15th edition with a weekend of youth-driven international cinema curated by the TIFF Next Wave Committee — a group of 12 teens from across the GTA. The festival features nine international feature films, filmmaker Q&As, workshops, live events, and special programs designed for young audiences. Opening night begins with the Canadian Premiere of Roommates (dir. Chandler Levack), followed by Our Hero, Balthazar (dir. Oscar Boyson). Later, join us for the Opening Night Party, themed “Motion Blur,” an immersive celebration to kick off the weekend.
