We are back for our 3rd show 😊 Our first 2 shows had an audience of 60 and 80 people, for our Aug-22 show we are expecting 100+ folks! These are experts, activists, volunteers, professionals, founders, students and influencers in the climate space. Through our first two shows we have raised $750 for climate initiatives and have set a target of $2500 for our August show!
Dhama is this show’s producer and a climate comedian. There is one problem though, he is addicted to milk! However, when he met the Plant Based Treaty Toronto team he realised the harmful impact meat and dairy has on the environment and animals. He has agreed to ditch dairy for a year if Plant Based Treaty is able to raise $2,500 CAD, and his next Toronto Climate Comedy show sells out on August 22. Help Dhama Ditch Dairy by donating here!
245,000 individuals have already endorsed the Plant Based Treaty which puts food systems at the heart of combating the climate crisis, aiming to halt the widespread degradation of critical ecosystems caused by animal agriculture, and promotes a shift to more healthy, sustainable plant-based diets and to actively reverse damage done to planetary functions, ecosystem services and biodiversity.
Our pre-show socialising and networking was an absolute hit in June! This time we are extending it to 75 minutes and have special happy hours at the bar. Come meet your next climate mentor / friend / founder / employer!
