The Trinbago Toronto Festival is a vibrant three-day celebration of the culture, creativity and community of Trinidad and Tobago and the wider Caribbean. Held annually since 2022 in downtown Toronto, the festival draws thousands of attendees from all walks of life to experience the rich and dynamic spirit of the Caribbean through music, food art and storytelling. The Festival exists to promote cultural pride, foster community connections and create economic opportunities for Caribbean-Canadian artists, entrepreneurs and youth. Rooted in a mission to celebrate and preserve the cultural legacy of Trinidad and Tobago, it offers a platform for both established and emerging talent across the diaspora to shine. Programming includes live performances by soca, calypso, chutney and steelpan artists; vibrant dance showcases and cultural parades; a bustling marketplace featuring Caribbean cuisine, artisans, and small businesses; as well as art exhibits and interactive workshops for youth and families.
More than just a Festival, Trinbago Toronto is a cultural movement, an expression of identity, resilience and unity. Proceeds from the event support the Caribbean Scholarship Foundation’s scholarship and mentorship programs, ensuring that while the festival celebrates heritage, it also invests in the future of the community.
