Union Summer – Presented by TD returns for its ninth season from June 8 to August 9, transforming Toronto’s Front Street Plaza into the city’s ultimate summer destination. Celebrating the “Best of Toronto,” this free open-air festival brings together live music, local food favourites, and vibrant cultural experiences in the heart of downtown. With more than 120 live performances spanning jazz, blues, big band, DJs, and contemporary music, Union Summer offers something for every music lover.
The festival’s lively patio experience showcases some of the GTA’s most talked-about food vendors and hidden gems, including Caribbean favourites from Wicked Carib, viral shawarma spot Sumaq, Mexican street eats from The Taqueria by Narcos Tacos, gourmet burgers from Ugly Delicious, and handcrafted ice cream treats from Ruru Baked. Visitors can also sip seasonal beverages, cocktails, mocktails, beer, cider, and wine at the Carlsberg Bar.
Beyond the food and music, Union Summer features sports screenings, board games, and interactive programming for all ages, making it the perfect place to meet friends, unwind after work, or soak up the energy of summer in Toronto.
