On Friday, May 22nd, the bell will toll once again as Toronto’s largest outdoor escape game returns. Beware the bell, stranger. This unique and chilling experience will take you and yours on a dark and eerie quest in order to lift a curse that befalls The Village at Black Creek, but if the final bell tolls before the end of your journey, then all shall be lost. Where Dark Things Dwell first launched in 2017 with sold-out runs and rave reviews. Secret City Adventures is thrilled to bring back the mystery once again.
Within the buildings and pathways of Black Creek’s historical village, teammates will use their wit and lamplight to solve the old hamlets’ thrilling puzzles. Where Dark Things Dwell blends immersive theatre, escape room puzzles, and team bonding into an unforgettable experience. The location, actors, and blood-pumping narrative complete the immersive atmosphere as teams work to lift the curse or be doomed to fall under its spell.
Where Dark Things Dwell is played in teams of 4 with 15 teams competing to save the village. The games run Friday and Saturday nights at 6 pm and 9 pm until August 29 at 1000 Murray Ross Parkway. All games take place outdoors, without the aid of technology, in the open-air museum of The Village at Black Creek.
