It’s not entirely fair to slap this long-running and enduringly popular gay club in the Village with the theme-bar label. It’s much more than one of the best spots in town to catch a spicy, skillful drag show.
Part neighbourhood haunt that occasionally loops soft-core on its TVs and part boys’ nightclub, Woody’s, along with its attached brother bar, Sailor, is a noted contributor to the gay scene and community. They’re famous for their weekly best ass, best chest and best leg contests, assured to take your breathe away regardless of predilection.
