Handbag designer Jenny Bird was shopping at Club Monaco when she got a call from Henri Bendel, placing an order for her chic clutch collection. She ran out of the store to take down their request, forgetting she was carrying a handful of security-tagged merchandise. A little accidental shoplifting is understandable when New York’s hottest department store rings you up. We won’t have to make a trip stateside this spring to grab styles like her Trunk Clutch, though.
