We often wonder why more local designers don’t get in on the fall coat racket, since, you know, we all wear fall coats. (Our ball gown budget, on the other hand, is surprisingly small.) Luckily, we don’t have to lecture Paper People Clothing’s Jennifer Fukushima, who has added this pretty purple topper to her new autumn collection. The shell of the trench-style coat is 100 per cent organic cotton, lined with fleece for extra warmth. A black doily print and vintage buttons add to its retro styling.
