The wedding dress usually plays the part of fashion finale but bridal opened the Spring 2009 edition of Toronto’s Fashion Week.

Canadian design legend Alfred Sung’s Saturday afternoon best included cinched, pleated and gathered skirts topped with beaded bodices, dimante brooches and endless rows of satin covered buttons. Nothing revolutionary but the show was worth it to see Sung himself return to the runway for a bow.
