Rarely are a store’s racks as notable as what’s hanging on them. But that’s the case at new Ossington and Queen boutique Annie Aime. Owner Annie Messenge tapped designer John Tong to conceptualize the forced-perspective sculptural racks on which she displays a European-focused collection of clothing and accessories.

The most recognizable buys are Saint James sweaters in iconic (and very French) Breton stripes and menswear from Toronto label Outclass including camouflage-print denim and sharp shirting. New discoveries include a Saisei tote splattered with yellow spots, and printed leather flats by Catherine Parra.

Expect the merchandise to change often.

“We’ve only been open two weeks, but we’ve already moved things around three times,” says Messenge.

Annie Aime picks: The Prêt Pour Partir collection of reversible raincoats includes a tan and olive topper, $650 brilliant Veeshee sneakers unzip around the sole and up the heel to pack flat, $395 pick up Evelyne Prélonge poufs for your pad, $95 each.

Look for: A gift nook in the back stocked with Lov organic tea tins and Crawford Street skin care products.

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday 11 am to 7 pm, Sunday noon to 5 pm.
