New Yorkville shop spots

A week of swanky parties has launched three new Yorkville boutiques. Last Thursday, Teatro Verde made the move from Hazelton Lanes to a 9000 square foot space (100 Yorkville) full of their chic, classic brand of home and garden goodies. Eleven (116 Cumberland) opened on Saturday and is full of Canadian labels like Lundström and Joeffer Caoc. And last night, Toronto’s first Diesel store (92 Yorkville) made its official debut.

Meder gets the boot

Followers of Toronto fashion illustrator Danielle Meder’s blog have been eager for their first look at the pair of custom Doc Martens she designed as part of a contest put on last year by the boot maker. Her white leather 14-hole boots artfully splattered with orange, yellow and red dye recently arrived. Keep following Finalfashion.ca for their release date at NEON stores in Toronto and Montreal.
