CLOTHING "These tortoiseshell Ray-Bans are from a Value Village in Missisauga (3130 Dixie, 905-949-4440, and others). I'm always hunting. My charm necklace is by the Painted Lady . I picked it up at the Ex this year for $10. The yellow cable-knit cardigan is another Value Village find. I bought my Mickey Mouse tank at Vintage Depot (70 Kensington, 416-596-6513), and my grey backpack is another thrift-store pick. My black leggings are Zara (50 Bloor West, 416-916-2401), and I found these vintage spectator heels on eBay."
HAIR "My stylist, Leesa, moved to Montreal and passed me on to Shauna at Coupe Bizzarre (704 Queen West, 416-504-0783).
MY STYLE "Thrown-together bits of eclecticism."
INTO "Checking out art at the Power Plant (231 Queens Quay West, 416-973-4949) or MOCCA (952 Queen West, 416-395-0067) -- I love MOCCA's back room, because it always surprises you with something good or crappy; Ed Banger and A.D.D. events (www.myspace.com/addinc) -- I go out five nights a week; weaving through traffic on my bike."
STUDENT TIPS "Make friends with the security guards at the Mac lab in west Kerr Hall and you can have 24-hour access. If you're getting into fashion, start networking and connecting with people in the industry right away. It pays off when work-study projects and internships start piling up."
