WHO ” Rhythmic gymnast, student and Olympics aspirant Emilie Livingston.
WHEN ” Friday, 11 am.
WHERE ” The YMCA (567 Sheppard East).
CLOTHES — “For gymnastics, my outfits have to accentuate my body. Otherwise, I dress to portray how I feel — and everything I wear has to be comfortable. I’ve started having all my competition outfits made by designer Susan Dicks (by appointment, 596-0945). This is her first time doing this kind of work — she usually does designs for the film industry. These earrings were a gift from my mom on my 16th birthday, and I wear a red string bracelet that was given to me for luck by a friend in Australia. My toe shoes are by Romsport, a Canadian make, who gave them to me as a sponsorship (by special order, 1-877-733-2499 or www.romsport.com).”
HAIR ” “I had my hair done by Andrea, and my makeup by Shannon, both from the Judy Inc. agency (by appointment, 962-5839).”
STYLE ” “Ambitious.”
UPCOMING ” “I’m training in Australia and New Zealand in preparation for a World Cup gymnastics competition in Russia on July 20.”
