The direction GotStyle is going in for its second location, this one in the Distillery District, is best illustrated by a pair of blazers. The first is a Vito camouflage men’s jacket with a navy satin shawl collar. It’s a contemporary twist on a classic tux that channels the sense of dapper, modern dandy the store is known for but looks extra-fresh in this cavernous, industrial two-level space.
The second is a robin’s-egg-blue women’s jacket. Yes, GotStyle is getting into womenswear, including everyday pieces and special-occasion dresses that hang next to formal menswear (and a pool table) on the purple-carpeted mezzanine. The luxe look of the decor continues downstairs, where silver-edged steamer trunks are topped with spring-ready knit ties, Ela clutches and wood iPhone cases.
GotStyle Distillery picks: Pop the orange under-collar on Circle of Gentlemen’s Siegel trench coat, $850 Stones cotton blazers come in royal blue, bright green or neutral grey, $398 the women’s selection includes lots of local accessories like a Cuchara bracelet, $85.
