It's worth cutting class to check out the 77th annual Hadassah-WIZO Bazaar, where everything from vintage gowns to brand-name pants, new leather jackets (Danier seconds, $25-$100), fur collars and school uniforms is up for unbelievable prices. People queue for hours to be the first in at 9 am, and hang out to catch the last-minute price slashing toward the 8 pm closing time. The Clothing Show -- formerly Old Clothing Show -- brings over 130 vintage clothing retailers and new designers to the CNE's Automotive Building to offer amazing deals to the public. The show's roots are in vintage retailers like Stella Luna, Black Market, Gadabout and Rozaneh, but it's also a fabulous place to pick up deals from bleeding-edge labels like Sim N Jones, Jet Rag, Geek Boutique, Peachy Fresh, Hoax Couture and Olena Zylak. Snug is holding its bi-annual warehouse sale at the Show, and Damzels in This Dress and 100 Degrees are setting up a $10 table. Admission is $7, $4 for seniors. The JCC's annual Holiday Gift and Craft Show runs two days this year, and is the community centre's last big event prior to closing for renovations.
