CLOTHING: “This is the Eva chain halter dress in fuchsia by Brazen Hussy. It’s nylon/spandex and $159 at our boutique (863 Queen West, 647-428-7051). My ex picked me up these gold hoop earrings, butterfly pendant necklace and gold bracelet at one of those jewellery stores on Yonge. I bought my multicolour Steve Madden (www.stevemadden. com) wedge heels at the Steve store in New York.”
HAIR: “I get it cut by Vivian at Ritual Salon (793 King West, 416-306-0040).”
MY STYLE: “Sexy, elegant and brazen hussy.”
INTO: “I work on Brazen Hussy with my sister Michele and our friend Catriona Smart. We’ve dressed Mya, Rihanna and Keshia Chanté. Vivica Fox just picked up seven dresses. I spend most of my time sewing and designing in our upstairs studio. I like the She’s With Us industry nights on Sunday at Cheval (606 King West, 416-363-4933) and take my aerobics classes at Extreme Fitness (267 Richmond West, 1-800-694-7136, and others). Vintage shopping at House of Vintage (571 Queen West, 416-363-8343) – I’m really into funky, bright 80s stuff right now. Walking and boat-watching along Queens Quay. The udon noodle soup at Yamato (24 Bellair, 416-927-0077) is my favourite.”
CARIBANA TIPS: “It’s our busiest season, and I’ll be sewing until we close at 9 pm on Saturday. People pick up a different dress for each night of Caribana. We create clothing for a lot of music videos. Video director Lil X is throwing his sixth annual Caribana party starting at 10 pm on Saturday night at the Docks (11 Polson, $40 advance.
