Kiehl’s has come to Yorkdale. The modern apothecary beauty, bath and grooming brand opened its third Toronto location on Earth Day (April 22) with the launch of its certified organic Acai Damage-Protecting Toning Mist. Limited-edition bottles come wrapped in labels designed by Jeff Koons, Julianne Moore and Pharrell Williams, and 100 per cent of proceeds benefit Rainforest Alliance (rainforest-alliance.org).

Yorkdale stores are slicker than your average mall shop, but the Kiehl’s boutique stands out with its neon light decor and vintage fixtures. Staff in lab coats consult with customers on cleansing and moisturizing from a slate-topped island. You can pack a present of products and samples at the gift station in the back.
Kiehl’s picks: Close Shavers Squadron Ultimate Brushless Shave Cream soothes your freshly groomed face with menthol and camphor, $22 Midnight Recovery Concentrate gives you an overnight facial, $48 those Rainforest Alliance-boosting toners are $34 each.
Look for: Greta Constantine’s Tencel drawstring T-shirts, created exclusively for the store’s debut.
