WHERE College and St. George
WHEN Tuesday afternoon
CLOTHING “My friend Trevor picked me up this Darkness cap from a store in Montreal. I got my turquoise ‘The Onehundreds’ T-shirt at Ransom (431 Richmond West, 2nd floor, 416-703-8055). I was feeling the colour. My Imperial jeans are from Nomad (431 Richmond West, 416-682-1107), and these Nike Air Max 1 Dot Pack sneakers are from Goodfoot (431 Richmond West, 416-364-0734). I got my Sony headphones on eBay.”
HAIR “I get it cut by Brian at Loosenz (621 St. Clair West, 416-654-8368).”
MY STYLE “Streetwear.”
INTO “Working. I’m building up my business experience working as an assistant analyst/stock boy at Loblaws (396 St. Clair West, 416-651-5166) riding the U of T shuttle from downtown to my classes on the Erindale campus New Kicks at the Drake (1150 Queen West, 416-531-5042) on Thursdays or grabbing a pitcher at the Cadillac Lounge (1296 Queen West, 416-536-7717) collecting caps — I have about 22 now. I never wear the same one two days in a row.”
STUDENT TIPS “Use the Robarts Library (130 St. George, 416-978-8450). There are no distractions, and it’s motivating being around other people studying. Wait until the weekend to go out, and then hit the club district. I like Queen West, but it’s cliquey, and the big clubs are better for meeting people. And any U of T kid has to check out the Brunny ( Brunswick House , 481 Bloor West, 416-964-2242). Watch out for the fights while you’re getting trashed.”
