Segway’s new Cross Terrain Transporter (XT) is something that could’ve been made in Monster Garage: cool to look at, but really – come on now, help me out here, seriously – what the fuck is it for? It’s the same Segway of yore with wider tires, longer-lasting batteries and racing stripes on the fender. You can cruise over dirt at 20km/hr. It’s too safe to be “extreme” – you can’t hurt yourself on it – too slow for racing, too expensive and unnecessary for businesses. But here it is.
