In the wake of last TIFF’s Valentino catwalk show, Fashion Television is rolling out the 299 Queen West runway again for Dsquared2‘s Dean and Dan Caten. Sunday’s (September 7) event is followed by MAC Cosmetics‘ (maccosmetics.com) glittering Gold Fever-themed after-party, where guests will have to sparkle extra-bright to upstage the over-the-top disco decor. It’s an invite-only teaser for the rollout of MAC’s gilt new collection that includes shimmering pigments, liners and lipsticks ($13 to $27.50) and hits Bay stores (176 Yonge, 416-861-9111, and others, hbc.com) September 25.
