If you’re desperate for a hit of colour on winter’s greyest days, a visit to the newest exhibition at the Textile Museum of Canada (55 Centre, 416-599-5321) is guaranteed to brighten you up. Marimekko, With Love is a celebration of the world-renowned Finnish textile brand’s beginnings and arrival in Canada via the long-closed (but still legendary in the local Scandinavian design scene) store Karelia on Front. $15, srs $10, stu $6, pwyc Wednesdays 5-8 pm. The exhibition continues to April 21.
