Hunting down holiday buys can be tough work but sometimes the best seasonal finds are right under your nose. Or our nose actually. NOW production designer Jay Dart has created a holiday card series called The 12 Days of Climate Change Xmas featuring his illustrations printed on recycled paper stock. Each of the 12 greetings includes a unique drawing that matches up to eco-warning lyrics like “One the fifth day of Climate Change Xmas, guess what I did see, FIVE HYBRID SLEIGHS!
Get your closet ready for holiday party season with the Fashion Group International’s sample sale Thursday (November 26) and Friday (November 27). A long list of Toronto clothing and accessories labels will be taking part in the event at the Liberty Market Building (171 East Liberty, Unit 118) including David Dixon, Farley Chatto, Aime By Monica Mei, Jessica Jensen, Jenny Bird, Yuki and more. One of a Kind kick off
The One of a Kind Christmas Show and Sale opens Thursday (November 26) at the Direct Energy Centre (Exhibition Place). In addition to the usual aisles of fashion, home, food, green and other crafty goods from over 800 vendors, this year’s event includes a teapot design competition and DIY workshops. Adult tickets are $12 at the door. The show continues until December 6.
