My Style

Rating: NNNNN

WHO Design promoter Kate Eisen, with Mildred.

WHEN Wednesday, 3 pm.

WHERE In abstracto (1160 Queen West, 416-533-6362).

CLOTHES I’m drawn to patterns, things that are abstract and interesting. This shirt is made in England, and cost $2.99 at Value Village (1319 Bloor West, 416-539-0585, and others), where I got these suspenders for $1. My pants are from Barneys New York and were a gift from a friend, and I bought my sunglasses for $4 they were asking $5, but I’m a haggler at a store on St. Mark’s when I was living in New York City. My Bumper Car shoes, by Kenneth Cole, were about $150 on sale a year ago in Boston, and I got my Shivas quartz watch, which is like a Timex knock-off, for $15 at a kiosk in the Eaton Centre.

HAIR Fashion photographer Edward Zaccaria cuts it for me in his home (by appointment, 416-534-4802).

STYLE I go through phases. Right now Im into floral.

INTO Film, my dog Mildred, and since I just opened In abstracto three months ago, Im totally immersed in my store.
