As seen on CBC’s Dragons’ Den series, YamChops is North America’s first and Canada’s only plant-based butcher shop. Fraser Studios
Founded in 2007, Fraser Studios believes in developing the finest talent in the performing arts and focuses on fostering Toronto’s independent artists through our company-in-residence program. We provide space for classes, rehearsals and casting. Striving to bridge the gap between training and working in the arts, we offer a variety of training programs for professional actors, including the Studio Meisner Technique Program and Violence in Motion stage and film combat training.

Sotto Voce

Cafe Diplomatico
Café Diplomatico was first opened in 1968 by Rocco Mastrangelo Sr., who was joined by his younger brother Paul shortly thereafter. They envisioned a typical Italian bar where Italian nationals could gather in the morning over coffee. At a time in Toronto when outdoor dining was rare, the sunny patio quickly caught on and now, decades later, what started out as an innovation in the neighborhood has set the standard. “The Dip,” as it is known by regulars, has kept its staying power due to a versatile and reasonably priced menu paired with a comfortable and unpretentious atmosphere.
