Sweet deal tag team

Fawn (967 Queen West, 647-344-4703, fawnboutique.ca) and Chasse Gardee (1084 Queen West, 416-901-9613, chassegardee.com) have teamed up for tonight’s after hours Holiday Shop Crawl. Both boutiques are open from 6 pm to 9 pm serving seasonal treats and sales. At Fawn, regular priced womenswear and accessories are marked down by 20 per cent with other merch up to half-off. At Chasse Gardee, shoes, boots and accessories are 40 per cent off.

Holladaze hint

69 Vintage’s new collective space (1207 Bloor West) and the Deadly Nightshades co-host Thursday’s High-Style Holladaze fundraiser for the Art Starts Style Council, a community project documenting neighbourhood style in communities around Oakwood and Vaughan and Dufferin and Eglinton. Stop by between 7 pm and 10 pm in your best party garb to grab a free copy of the book with a $4 donation.

Chip & Pepper pop

Canadian-born and Los Angeles-based twin brother designers Chip and Pepper Foster are opening a pop-up shop next to Lileo (55 Mill, building 35, 416-413-1410, lileo.ca). Launching this Friday with a personal appearance by the duo between 6 pm and 9 pm, the space is open until Boxing Day stocked with denim and exclusive items from their surf-inspired Wet Wear collection.

Turkey talk

This Saturday (December 19), Kvell & Co.’s Elana Ginsberg and Unit Bar (1198 Queen West, 416-537-6646) are hosting their third annual Turkey Derby. From 5 pm to 9 pm, all jewellery will be 25 per cent off with 25 per cent of sales being donated to the Parkdale Food Bank. After 9 pm, a portion of bar sales will be donated as well.
