When the team at M0851 (m0851.com) open their new store at 37 Avenue Road in early November, it will show off a refreshed design direction for the brand’s shops. The raw concrete floors and chunky wood display tables their boutiques are known for remain, but the Toronto flagship also incorporates vintage general store elements like sliding blackboard walls covered with sketches of the autumn collection’s mottled leather bags and printed scarves. Can’t wait? A second M0851 location is poised to debut any day now at Bayview Village (2901 Bayview).
