ROBBER 863 Queen West, 647-351-0724, robberstore.com

To stock their Trinity Bellwoods boutique Robber, Erin Hall and Robin de Pelham stole a bit of casual BC style (vintage-inspired dresses by Dace and slouchy leather bags from Erin Templeton), added in some NYC cool (Species by the Thousands rings cast in the shapes of fox heads and tree branches) and finished it all off with some UK quirkiness (F-Troupe heels and flats in colourful leathers). The result is a shopping mix that perfectly fits the easy-but-eclectic style of the Queen West locals.

Since opening in April, the duo have continued to develop their clothing and accessory collections, adding in labels like APC’s Madras offshoot and Steven Alan’s plaid shirt-centric line. Other new options include Bodkin’s “eco but not super-crunchy” pieces and other fresh buys from Permanent Vacation, Built by Wendy and Chain Chain Chained vintage jewellery from Detroit.
