Runway Review: RUDSAK

It’s a running front row joke to guess how long the RUDSAK show is going to be?

The Montreal-based leather goods and outerwear label is known (notorious?) for showing its tailored coats and endless bag lineup in every available colour. Thankfully, they bucked tradition at Thursday evening’s fashion week show and presented a tighter sampling of fall’s collection.

Jackets ranged from aviator-inspired pea coats to leather puffers with cinched waists. Bag picks included flight duffles and flat messenger envelopes in black and caramel. And footwear, usually my RUDSAK faves, focused on women’s boots with zip-off shafts and men’s styles with a rib-knit detail on their ankles.
