CANFAR’s Bloor Street Entertains fundraiser is always a hot-and-haute charity ticket with luxe Yorkville retailers opening up their shops after hours for intimate dinners cooked by the city’s top chefs. Ever since the event’s afterparty was shut down by a wanky OCAD student with an oblivious sense of timing two year ago though, the ROM bash has become equally buzzy.
This year’s event, chaired by Joe “Fresh” Mimran and his partner in fashion power coupledom, Pink Tartan designer Kimberly Newport-Mimran, has an old Hollywood glamour theme. Tickets for the November 25 party are $100, available through BloorStreetEntertains.com.
