We’ve featured local all-natural skin care wonder brand Consonant a lot in the pages of NOW. That’s because in addition to being an ethical and sustainable company, its products work really well.
In fact, Consonant’s foaming face wash ($9-$18) was the very first green product to become a permanent fixture in my beauty regimen.
Until now, the brand’s sole location was on Yonge just north of Eglinton – which, for a downtown condo dweller like me, might as well be out in the suburbs. So I was thrilled to learn that Consonant just opened a second location in the PATH system.
Like Consonant’s wares, the new shop’s decor is clean and to the point. Products line pristine white shelves in the order you’d use them in a daily routine. If you place an order before noon, the store offers same-day delivery.
Consonant picks The owners recommend HydrExtreme ($72-$499), and I’ll second that. This hydrator goes on light and non-greasy yet manages to provide serious day-long moisture. They also recommend the Spring Clean Set ($112) as a way to detoxify and decongest your skin from the long, cold winter. It includes the aforementioned face wash, DHE mask and ultra-moisturizing organic face cream.
