Mark Williams and Joe Osei Bonsu have drawn up a large cast of characters since launching their Super Heroes Unite (superheroesunite.com) line under the name Heroes of the Caribbean during 2005’s Caribana. Prints of men and women in tights representing islands like Antigua and Barbados created so much buzz that they’ve taken the superpowered posse global, sketching fantastic figures for Italy, the Philippines and Canada. They’re back this year at the Caribana parade, where they’ll be selling T-shirts (starting at $25) and posters (from $10).
