dude deals
The Downtown Urban Design Event (or the DUDE, as its fans call it) has been so successful that the lineup of participating independent designers has grown. The latest edition features homewares from the Ruckus girls (aka the DUDE’s founders), Ditu, and handhooked stuff by Hooked jewellery by Cinelli Design and Barbie’s Basement Jewelry fashions from Susan Harris Design and Elizabeth Pinter Designs bags and cushions from NO MSG, Spacegirl, Soniac and Sashita greeting cards, aromatherapy and much, much more. Because the sale has a low entry fee and the makers are selling direct, price points are very reasonable, with lots of great stuff under $25.
