Clues main man Alden Penner founded the Unicorns with Thorburn.

Multi-instrumentalist Patrick Gregoire is a sometime Islands member. Unfortunately, the promising Montreal-based band played their final gig at this year’s Pop Montreal.

Thompson and Thorburn started this project as Unicorns were imploding, and it’s still occasionally active.

An ongoing collaboration between Thorburn and L.A.-based weirdo hip-hop producer Daddy Kev.

Jim Guthrie and Thorburn’s tribute to classic AM radio pop.

Aside from the Human Highway connection, Guthrie is also a one-time member of Islands.
