“Slow and steady” might be the motto of Toronto experimental rock outfit Absolutely Free. It’s been two years since they released their debut single, UFO, and other than a few shows here and a pool-party EP release there, the band’s been pretty mum. Next month, the trio return with their self-titled debut album, a sprawling collection that mashes psych-Krautrock expeditions into four-minute earworms. The band’s other motto? Good things come to those who wait.
