Releasing their new disc at the same time as its thematic doppelganger, Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill, You Don’t Know Jack trivia answer Fun Lovin’ Criminals return with a liberally funky dose of their usual shit. Sadly, only two of the three band members are on the album’s cover. No fair to missing member! Somewhere between Super Bon Bon, Jimmy Ray and the almost simultaneous collapse of Limp Bizkit and the World Trade Center, the light rock-funk of FLC became tiresome to all world citizens. On this album they play for the sake of fun. Their five or six diehard fans probably love them all the more for it, but in the words of Han Solo, “Not me, sister!”
