But its better to be a Metallica fan in Toronto. The group is launching the record locally with an unusually intimate show at the Opera House, 735 Queen East, on Tuesday (November 29) thats also a benefit for the Daily Bread Food Bank.
There are two ways to get in: fan club members can enter a contest via the bands website to win an opportunity to purchase up to two tickets per member for $25 each as part of the fan pre-sale, which happens from 9 to 10 am on Wednesday (November 23).
Everyone else will be able to buy regularly priced $100 tickets on the same day at 11 am on Ticketmaster. All proceeds go to the Daily Bread Food Bank. Bins will also be on-site on show night to collect non-perishable food items.
