Matthew Barber just put out an intimate stripped-down home-recorded album and plays the Great Hall Friday (June 24) to celebrate the release.
To get you in the mood, he’s offered up an exclusive download to NOW readers of a cover he recorded of Canadian song writing legend Gordon Lightfoot’s Sundown.
“I was asked to record it by my friends in Sidemart Theatrical Grocery, who were producing the premiere of a Morris Panych play called Gordon”, explains Barber.
“It’s always been one of my favourite Lightfoot songs.”
NOW is also giving away some tickets to the show, and you can enter the contest here.
