Canadian aboriginal TV channel APTN is planning a six-part documentary series about the fifth edition of the Red Ride Tour, a travelling showcase of indigenous music.
Organized by Vancouver grunge musician Kristi Lane Sinclair, the annual event features diverse acts and expands into the U.S. this year.
Toronto is represented on the tour by Cree/Métis singer/songwriter Christa Couture, who will perform alongside Sinclair, Derek Miller and Cris Derkson when Red Ride pulls into the Monarch Tavern on May 28.
