How much does Florida hip-hop superstar Rick Ross love Toronto?
Well, apparently enough to shoot his entire new video for his guest appearance section of Kanye West’s Devil In A New Dress on the streets of our city. The clip, filmed after his recent gig in Brampton, features Ross driving around downtown, passing a number of indistinguishably Toronto sites. The video credits the frosty location, in case we didn’t recognise the bright lights of Yonge-Dundas Square.
It looks like a pretty cheap and quick music video, and probably isn’t really intended for television, but nevertheless it’s kind of neat to see Toronto actually portraying itself for a change, rather than just playing the part of the generic American city.
