Guess what? Toronto won a sports thing*! Yes, that’s right, the Little Major North American Metropolis That Could poked over the crest of the Hill of World Class-ness last night after the Toronto Argonauts defeated rival Canadian Football League squadron the Calgary Stampeders 35-22. Take that, Calgary! You may have missed the news, because you were sleepy or preoccupied with the slightly more pertinent story of Mayor Rob Ford being fired (or because our website was down on the biggest local news days in years). Anyway, look at all these beautiful photos! We assume the knife-sharpening liberal left will don their pinko facepaint for similar anti-Ford celebrations tonight.
