A southern powerhouse is travelling up to his northern neighbours to perform in Toronto tonight, bringing country, rock and soul to Rogers Stadium.
The popular country artist takes over the venue again on Thursday night, after just surprising audiences the night before, when he graced the stage with Guns N’ Roses, the legendary rock and roll group he had once opened for in Nashville a decade ago, according to Rolling Stone.
Now, Stapleton is back the next night for his own tour, and as part of Rogers Stadium’s own summer lineup, which aims to bring decades of hits with major artists and massive stage production to Toronto.

Set times
Fans can enter Rogers Stadium’s fan plaza beginning at 5 p.m. where they can explore a variety of food and drink options, photo opportunities, the iconic ferris wheel and other experiences before the concert.
The stadium bowl will also open at 5 p.m., with the first opener, R&B and soul artist Allen Stone, beginning his performance around 6 p.m.
Around 7 p.m. American country artist Zach Top will follow, warming up the crowd further before the main event.
Chris Stapleton is expected to begin his set around 8:45 p.m., bringing the crowd his various hits, like “You Should Probably Leave” and “Tennessee Whiskey,” until the show wraps up just before 11 p.m.
Getting to Rogers Stadium
Public transit is the easiest way to get to Rogers Stadium, with the venue having limited parking on site.
The venue is accessible by TTC subway, connected to Wilson Station, Sheppard West Station or Downsview Park Station, with a short walk to the main gates following.
For those who require accessible transportation directly to the stadium, riders can exit at Wilson Station and use the event shuttle service.
Fans travelling by GO Transit can exit at Downsview Park GO Station.
